1. Introduction

• Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant 2026 is organized by Fairchild Television Ltd. (the "Organizer"). Any female who satisfies the requirements set out below may participate in the Pageant (the "Contestant").
• The Organizer reserves the right to produce television programs relating to the Pageant and to conduct television broadcasting, video production, online streaming, and any other forms of media distribution.
• The Contestant agrees to comply with all of the terms, conditions, and regulations set out herein.

2. Eligibility

To be eligible for participation, the Contestant must fulfill all of the following requirements:

• The Contestant must be female.
• In order to be eligible for the "Miss Chinese International Pageant" in Hong Kong, the Contestant must be at least seventeen (17) years of age on or before July 29, 2026, and must not have attained twenty-eight (28) years of age on or before February 28, 2027.
• The Contestant must be a resident of Canada.
• The Contestant must be nominated by a Nominator who fulfills the requirements set out in Section 3.
• The Contestant must not be bound by any contract that would prevent her from signing and fulfilling the agreement referred to in Section 7.
• The Contestant must not be an employee of the Organizer Fairchild Television Ltd or co-organizer Talentvision, Fairchild Radio, or Popular Lifestyle & Entertainment Magazine.
• The Contestant must never have undergone any ceremony, whether valid or invalid, civil, religious, customary, or tribal, that is recognized as a marriage ceremony anywhere in the world.
• The Contestant must never have been pregnant.
• The Contestant must attend all training sessions, promotional activities, and events arranged by the Organizer and comply with all requirements of the Organizer. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

3. Nominator Qualifications

The Contestant's Nominator must fulfil all of the following requirements:

• The Nominator must have known the Contestant at the time the Application Form is signed.
• The Nominator must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age (by Western Reckoning) on the date the Application Form is signed.
• The Nominator must be a resident of Canada.
• The Nominator may be required to accompany the Contestant to the preliminary interview arranged by the Organizer.
• The Nominator may be required to attend the Pageant and related promotional activities in person.
• The Nominator may nominate only one Contestant.
• The Nominator must not be an employee of the Organizer Fairchild Television Ltd or co-organizer Talentvision, Fairchild Radio, or Popular Lifestyle & Entertainment Magazine.

4. Entry Procedures

• The Contestant must complete and sign the Application Form.
• The Nominator must complete and sign the Application Form.
• When submitting the completed Application Form, the Contestant must provide the following documents:
  1. A copy of her Birth Certificate, Passport, and Canadian legal residency or immigration documents;
  2. Two photographs: one half-body photograph and one full-body photograph;
  3. A 30-second self-introduction video and a 1-minute talent performance video.
• The completed Application Form and supporting documents must be uploaded to the official Pageant website on or before 5:00 p.m. (PST) on August 26, 2026.
• The Contestant must produce the original copies of the above documents for verification upon request.

5. Interview

• The Organizer will consider all applications received, and select some Contestants to attend the interview at the time(s), place(s) and format (s) designated by the Organizer.
• The Organizer will select some Contestants to participate in the Final of the Contest after the interview(s).

6. Interview Date

August 29, 2026 (Saturday)

7. Final Competition

Contestants selected through the interview process must sign an agreement prescribed by the Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant Organizing Committee before becoming eligible to participate in the Final Competition.

8. Acknowledgement

The Contestant understands and agrees that the Organizer reserves the right at any time to:

• Request proof of residency or immigration status.
• Accept identification documents or passports issued outside Canada.
• Reject any application without providing any explanation.
• Select any applicant to attend an interview.
• Determine the contestant number assigned to each Contestant.
• Disqualify any Contestant without providing any explanation.
• Amend, suspend, postpone, or cancel any interview, promotional activity, or Final Competition, and amend the rules and regulations of the Pageant.

The Contestant further agrees that:

• The Organizer shall not be liable for any monetary loss, property loss, personal injury, death, or any other damages suffered by the Contestant, whether caused in whole or in part by negligence or otherwise. The Contestant releases the Organizer, including its directors, officers, employees, representatives, and agents, from any and all liability arising from participation in the Pageant.
• The Organizer is not required to return any photographs, videos, application forms, or supporting documents submitted under Section 4 and shall retain ownership of such materials.

9. Confirmation

• The Contestant confirms that all information provided in the Application Form is true and accurate.
• The Organizer shall not be responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, misdirected, or destroyed application forms or supporting documents, nor for any human or technical errors in the processing thereof.

10. Language

This Application Form is prepared in both English and Chinese. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.

11. Law

The Pageant is governed by all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.

The Organizer shall have the right to collect, use, retain, and disclose the Contestant's personal information for purposes relating to the promotion, administration, production, and operation of Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant 2026 and any related purposes.
